View Full Version : Proceeding from the General Intermediate Program

I am coming up on week 7 of the General Intermediate Program. I am trying to develop a plan for going forward. Obviously, with more adaptation under my belt, the program will need to be updated. I am thinking of adding a week in the middle with loaded volume(~x5, @9, 8-10% fatigue), perhaps in between the current weeks 4 and 5. I am also thinking of adding an extra week towards the end with high intensity. Maybe mixing in singles with higher-repetition back off sets with sets of doubles.

Does anyone have any guidance in the form of (1)critique of my above plan or (2)a completely different idea on where to go after this program.


6', 190. Maxes from 6 months ago are 450/275/475. I was most previously training with Sheiko for about 6 months.
