View Full Version : Overtraining my hips?

Hi I've been using RTS and RPE for about 6 weeks now. I'm about to start a new mesocycle and am worried if my exercise selection will have me over training my hips. My main squat assistance exercise is pause squats, main deadlift is sumo deads, and main dead assistance is sumo pulls on a 1" platform. Has anyone successfully done this and still made progress? I'm weak at the bottom of both both squat and deadlift.

It's impossible to tell, really. And the truth is you should just go with it. Try it. If it beats up your hips too much, then change some stuff. The couple weeks it takes to find out will be well worth it.
