    3 x 115 @7
    3 x 120 @8
    3 x 125 @9

    Down set (load):
    3 x 117.5 @8

    Squat notes: Really happy with this session. Made (or am making) 3 changes to my squat: Bar a bit lower on back, feet wider, and sending the hips further back. Able to retain much better lower back integrity at these weights today, and looked and felt better. Upping the weights too ...

  2. Week 2, Day 2 (Cont) - Friday, 28th Feb

    Just a short session to catch up on the Tempo Squats from last night. Previous session finished 2100 and this session was 0700 the next morning.

    303 Tempo Squats

    7 x 60 - squeezing the glutes hard on these and started to look and feel much better.
    7 x 70 @7
    7 x 80 @8 - good tempo
    7 x 90 @9 - added belt

    Squat notes: These are disgusting - but good :-)

    Down Sets (load):

    Bench notes: Felt good

    Deadlift With Belt

    Target: 155, 162.5, 170

    3 x 160 @7.5
    3 x 167.5 @8
    3 x 175 @9 - tough on grip.

    Down set (load):
    3 x 165 - breathing better

    Squat notes: Figure 110 would have been a 7. Still not happy with the squat at this point - weight or technique. Videoing and working on some technique issues.

    Bench (Touch and Go)

    Targets: 69, 72, 76

    60 x 8 @6/6.5
    65 x 8 @7
    70 x 8 @8
    72.5 x 8 @9 - added belt for this one too, needed the extra help as on ...

    Pendlay Rows

    GPP - Rows

    DB Rows with 17.5kg
    4 sets of 7
    5 sets of 5

    Strongman:

    Back squat - 80kg x 12, then 60 sec hold at bottom with 80kg
    Farmer's Walks: Up to 115kg each hand for 10m

    Notes: GPP session cut short too. Not a good week for GPP!
