• This is what we are about!

RTS is not about one man's progress
Russian systems, Bulgarian systems, and most any other so-called system is simply interested taking large populations and churning out a handful of very good athletes. But you are a population of one trying to be the best you can be. Your training needs to reflect this fundamental philosophical difference!

"Just wanted to give a quick props to RTS programming. After doing a six week program I hit PR's across the board with a 738 squat, 424 bench, and 710 deadlift. All lifts were raw in the 242 class. This was a 137 pound PR total and I probably had another 25 left on the platform."

We believe everyone should be constantly improving
This isn't just about lifting weights, though lifting is central to what we do. If lifting is what you care about, then we can help you reach your potential. If you have other things in your life (job, family, etc), then the strength and character that you build here will only help you in the rest of life. And since the programming can be easily tailored, RTS is ideal for both full time athletes or people with a million other things to do.

"I have been training RTS for a year now and I have experienced great gains with Mike's excellent coaching."

Since everyone responds to training differently, training should account for these differences
Most of us know that not everyone responds to exactly the same training. But this isn't some mystical individual response. It's a logical effect based on the differences in each of us. We can figure out what many of these differences are, sort through the relevant ones and the irrelevant ones, then make a training plan to fit. And since it's such a customized process, the plan it tailored to fit specifically you. And that means remarkable progress.

"I added 40 pounds to my squat, 15 pounds to my bench, and 35 pounds to my deadlift. 90 Pound PR total over the course of the 8 week program."

It doesn't have to be complicated
The body can be complex, there's no denying it. That's why doctors go to school for so long. And if we seriously intend to customize training plans based on real, measurable differences between people, it can get complicated. But that doesn't mean it has to be complicated for you. In keeping with our beliefs about constant improvement, we have a wide range of solutions from totally simple to necessarily complex. This means that no matter if you want to be a student of strength and learn all you can, or if you just want to focus on being a lifter, we can help make you better.

"After my first training cycle, I added 21 pounds to my squat and PR'd in all 3 lifts."

      Wide range of solutions
If you want to read free articles, ask questions, and learn more about how to build strength, we've got you covered. If you want to really soak up all the info you can about auto-regulation and start becoming a student of strength, we can help. Even if none of that interests you and you just want to train in the most effective way possible without a big learning curve, we can help you there, too. Our purpose here is to help you get better and we take that role very seriously.

"Squat went up 44 pounds. Bench went up 21 pounds. Deadlift went up 28 pounds. 93 pound PR total. Thanks for letting me participate, Mike!"
