You need to speak to a Veteran Healthcare Center (preferably someone from the Patient Benefits or Eligibility Office), the Veteran Benefits Administration Veteran Services Center or a Veteran Service Organization such as DAV, VFW, AmVets or American Legion. They will be able to give you specific, accurate information and will also be able to help you and your father to file for any benefits he may be eligible for. Also, there are home care https://myallamericancare.com/veterans-health-care/ who provide such services. In-home health care for veterans includes both short-term skilled nursing as well as long-term services, including geriatric care. There is also a benefit of home care to surviving spouses as well.

I donít really think that he can provide Home Health Care because he is a vet. But he can go to people's homes to take care of their pets for sure. Also, I donít think that vets know very well about human health.
