Denver Broncos star cornerback Chris Harris Jr. wants a new contract or he wants to be traded. Your move, John Elway. Report: Chris Harris Jr. has requested the Broncos to give him a new contract or trade himAccording to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Broncos All-Pro cornerback Chris Harris Jr. has requested to the Broncos that they sign him to a new contract or trade him. Here we go. As we know, cornerback Chris Harris Jr. has been sitting out the voluntary workouts so far in hopes of getting a contract extension from the Broncos. However, General Manager John Elway continues to insist that he is tabling this matter until after the draft. Well, it appears that Elway threw some gasoline on the fire with his comments about Harris’s situation during the Broncos pre-draft press conference earlier today. Elway told reporters that just because they are going to talk about a potential deal, doesn’t mean that a deal will happen.Elway was also asked if he has considered trading Harris because of these demands. He told reporters that “he hasn’t thought about that” and that he will talk to Harris after the draft. So will Elway start thinking about trading Harris now? I think he very well may.Elway is notorious for “his way or the highway” negotiating. He even asked GOAT Peyton Manning to take a pay cut Dalton Risner Jersey , so I do not see him paying Harris who is entering his age 30 year. Also keep in mind that they signed slot corner Bryce Callahan who basically replaced what Harris already did well. I just don’t see Elway budging here and likely we see a trade by the end of the week. Ideally, the Broncos could get a premium pick in return, but it likely will be a 3rd or 4th round selection if a trade does go down.Could he still be re-signed and I am just being a negative nancy? It’s possible, but I don’t see this ending without him being traded. Update: Chris Harris is asking for $15 million per year from the Broncos. If these demands are true, Harris is gone. Update number two: 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis is saying that Harris is NOT getting $15 million per year from the Broncos and that a trade is likely best for both sides.Yeah, he’s not coming back. Snubbed from the combine and in the 2018 draft, Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay is the first undrafted offensive player in NFL history to make the Pro Bowl as a rookie."I am so blessed ... It is a tremendous honor and I am so thankful to all of Broncos Country for supporting and believing in me this season," Lindsay wrote in his thank-you post on Instagram Tuesday after the league announced the roster for the all-star game next month in Orlando Tramaine Brock Jersey , Florida.Excluding special teams players, the only other undrafted rookie to make the Pro Bowl was Dallas Cowboys defensive back Everson Walls in 1981. A Grambling alum, Walls went on to make three more Pro Bowls in a 14-year NFL career.Lindsay grew up in Aurora, Colorado, attended Denver South High School and starred at the University of Colorado. When he went uninvited to the combine and undrafted six weeks later, he chose his hometown Broncos over several other suitors, notably the Ravens, so he could live in his parents' basement and save money.Lindsay is 9 yards shy of becoming the third undrafted rookie in league history to top 1 Jeff Heuerman Jersey ,000 yards rushing. He has a 5.5-yard average per carry and nine touchdown runs. He also has 33 receptions for 230 yards and a score. He's the only player ranked in the top 5 in rushing yards, rushing average and TD runs.Lindsay will join teammate Von Miller, the reigning Pro Bowl MVP, in the game on Jan. 27.
