Week 8/16 - Session #1. Mixed Feelings....

Mixed feelings regarding today. First off, I did this session Tuesday morning at ~2:30am. I was planning to do it Monday evening but I had mucked up my sleep schedule this past weekend and ended up sleeping from ~4-9:30pm on Monday. So I had a meal when I woke up, did some work then set out to the gym around 2am.

Monday Feb. 24/14

Woke up and decided to throw on my belt and work up to a heavy single. It wasn't my goal to find my 1RM but to get somewhere near it. My rationale for doing so was I needed an evaluative tool to measure if my efforts had any carry over to my competition squat. I am aware I was not well rested nor had I used a transmutation block - but even still I managed an easy PR.

Week 6/16 - Session 4.....a horrible session (was due for one).

First off, life happened. My gym closes early on Sundays and I didn't get there until 47 minutes before close. Already that cuts into how much time I can spend warming up and transitioning. I was mentally in a hurry and my lifting showed it. I looked and felt rush (because I was)...and this performance was less than adequate. Still I felt something heavy today at least.
