    Deadlift Advice

    Hello all,

New member here looking for advice on my deadlift. The video link is to me pulling 455x4 off a deficit trying to keep my back as neutral as possible. I don't mean to start a large debate on deadlifting rounded vs. straight back, but could you tell me if it appears "acceptable" to you. Now that my deadlift is just under 600, I want to make sure I stay injury free so I can lift for years to come.

Let me know what you think as I appreciate the advice. Feel free to give me tips to improve my setup also.

    Thank you,

Walk to the bar. Stand with your mid-foot under the bar. ...
Grab the bar. Bend over without bending your legs. ...
Bend your knees. Drop into position by bending your knees until your shins touch the bar. ...
Lift your chest. Straighten your back by raising you chest. ...
Pull. Take a big breath, hold it and stand up with the weight.

I would try to build more tension with the bar before breaking the ground, should help to increase your tightness and keep good form.
